Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a code sent to your phone when you sign in.
Enable 2FA
To enable 2FA, follow these steps:
- Go to account.ramseysolutions.com
- Sign in to your account
- Click Update Security
- Enter your password to verify your account
- Click Enable Two-factor
- Enter your phone number
- Enter the verification code sent to your phone
- Congrats, 2FA has been enabled!
Disable 2FA
To disable 2FA, follow these steps:
- Go to account.ramseysolutions.com
- Sign in to your account
- Click Update Security
- Enter your password to verify your account
- Click Disable Two-factor
Things to Know
- Only one phone number can be used for 2FA
- If you plan to change your phone number, disable 2FA first
- Your recovery code can help you access your account if you lose your phone
