At Ramsey, we believe the most important part of Financial Peace University is community—and our in-person classes are designed to help that flourish. Coordinators now have two great options for leading a class in person, depending on what works best for them and their group.
Option 1: Watch Together In Class
This is the traditional in-person experience. Each week, the group gathers to watch the FPU lesson together and then follows it with a group discussion and activities. Coordinators will need access to AV equipment and a suitable meeting space for this format.
Option 2: Watch Before You Meet
This format gives class members the flexibility to watch each weekly video on their own time before coming to the group meeting. That way, the in-person time is fully focused on meaningful conversations and practical activities.
What's the Same in Both Formats?
-
Class members get access to a free digital workbook (with the option to purchase a physical one).
-
Weekly in-person group time for discussion and accountability.
-
Coordinators receive full support and tools to lead their class well.
What's Different?
-
In Option 1, you’ll watch the video together in class.
-
In Option 2, members watch the video on their own before coming to the meeting.
Why Choose Option 2?
-
More time for discussion: Without needing to watch the video in class, you get deeper conversations and stronger community.
-
More flexible for members: They can watch the lessons whenever it works for their schedule.
-
Less setup for coordinators: No need for a screen or sound system, so it’s easier to meet in flexible locations at the church or in the community.
Both formats work great—it’s all about what best supports your group and helps them experience the life change that comes from going through Financial Peace University together.
